Come and join me at this gorgeous, mindful workshop where you can choose to create your own little works of art using preloved beads plus sequins or make a beautiful hanging heart from preloved fabrics and beads.
Heartfelt Hearts ♥️
You'll have a large choice of materials to choose from to make your heart (or hearts ) and you'll get to rummage through my piles of beads to add to your work. You can make a few small hearts if you like to make a garland.
We'll start off by choosing the colours and textures you'd like to make your heart in and then I'll show you how to make the fabric flowers to add to the front.
The beads and small pieces of jewellery can be added around your flowers for detail.
We'll be finishing off by choosing a ribbon to hang your heart with and finally sewing your heart together.
Bead Embroidery Experience 💎
✨There will now be 4 hours instead of 3 of the relaxing, mindful, sparkly experience that you all love so much.
✨You'll be able to choose your beautiful fabric to work with and also have time to paint your hoop a complimentary colour if you like.
✨There will now be a choice of larger pieces of jewellery, vintage beads, sequins and letter beads to make your own totally unique piece of bead art.
✨You'll get more time to sift through the thousands of little beads and find all those amazing little treasures at the bottom of the trays! IFUKYK
✨Having the choice of adding sequins to the beads and jewellery really gives a new dimension to the embroidery... and it's mixing old with new to give the unwanted beads a whole new lease of life.
You'll also be able to finish off the back of your work with felt and decorative stitches.
For both workshops it is beneficial if you can sew a simple running stitch.
All materials plus bowls of chips and cake are provided for you and you can buy your own drinks at the bar to enjoy while you work.
The heart session will finish at 3.30pm and the Bead session will continue to 4.30pm.
