Choose to either create your own little works of art using preloved beads at our Bead Embroidery Workshop or bring your own craft project along and come for a chat and meet some new people! (Some craft supplies will be available for you to use too). Plus you'll be helping to raise money for an amazing cause at the same time! A lovely Afternoon Tea is also included in the ticket price! At the Bead Embroidery session: ✨You'll be able to choose your beautiful fabric to sew your beads onto. ✨There will be a choice of larger pieces of jewellery, vintage beads, sequins and letter beads to make your own totally unique piece of bead art. ✨You'll get time to sift through the thousands of little beads and find all those amazing little treasures at the bottom of the trays! It will be beneficial if you can see a simple stitch to attend this session. Please see the main photo for all the details of the event. Here is a word from Charlotte who is organising the event; "Hello, my name is Charlotte and I am a first year Neuroscience student at Keele university. This year I am doing the Kilimanjaro trek with Choose a Challenge in aid of Meningitis Research Foundation. I have been crafting since I was little so I'm really excited to run a crafting event whilst raising money for an amazing charity. Meningitis is an infection in the lining of the brain and spinal cord (the meninges). It affects 2.3million people globally every year. 1 in 10 people who get meningitis will die. Meningitis research foundation raises awareness, provides support for those affected by meningitis and funds research to eventually eradicate the disease."
