Give your old shoes, crocs, sliders or handbags a glamorous new lease of life in this fun, hands on Workshop where creativity meets lots of sparkle!
Bring along a tired old pair of shoes or buy a cheap pair of crocs or plastic sliders and I’ll show you how to transform them using gilding techniques with different coloured metal leaf.
Whether you're after bold and bright or just a subtle touch, this workshop is all about expressing yourself and having loads of fun doing it!You don’t need any experience to come along, its suitable for all ages over 10 years( children may need a bit of help from an adult) and all materials are provided for you.
This is an amazing unique and fun session guaranteed to put a smile on everyone’s faces!
** Your shoes ideally need to be as plain as possible and leather, leather effect or plastic.
Small tags etc are ok.. ie the crocs symbol but you will have to foil over this.
Basic crocs or sliders are the best.
The fake, plain ones are even better! The example in the pics were actually quite hard to do as they had different coloured soles.
The ones with writing in the sides or on the soles are a bit too fiddly to do! This process won't work on suede.
